E-learning platform quote

The heaviest line item is nearly always video, not the platform.

DQ-08

Order of magnitude

As an order of magnitude, a platform with enrolment, payment and progress tracking sits between 9,000 and 30,000 dinars, video production excluded. This is not a quote.

What moves the price of an e-learning platform

The platform is rarely the heaviest line. Video is. Shooting, editing, subtitles, re-encoding for slow connections: one clean hour of course easily takes two days of production, and you usually need twenty hours of it.

The access model changes everything else. Open access ships fast. Paid access brings a checkout, a gateway, invoices and refund handling. Invite only access, for employees or members, needs group and session management.

Certificates are a line of their own. Generating a named and verifiable document, with a quiz passed beforehand and a searchable archive, has to be built. Many training bodies discover that after launch, once the budget is spent.

Then hosting. Video is heavy, and the monthly bill follows the hours actually streamed, not the number of people enrolled.

What we need to know

  1. 01 How many hours of content
  2. 02 Paid, invite-only, or open access
  3. 03 Do you need to issue certificates

Count the video hours, then price

  1. Tell us how many hours of course material already exist, in what shape, and what is still to be filmed.
  2. We look at the access model you have in mind, open, paid or invite only, because it drives the checkout and the invoicing.
  3. The written estimate arrives within two business days, platform on one side, video production on the other, never mixed.
  4. It remains valid thirty days. Video hosting follows the hours actually streamed and gets reviewed every year.

What we will not do on a learning platform

We do not price video production without watching one existing hour of course. A module filmed on a phone in an echoing room has to be re-edited, sometimes re-recorded, and that cannot be guessed from a spreadsheet.

We promise no completion rate and no enrolment figure. What depends on us is that the course plays on a slow connection and that the certificate comes out with the right name on it.
