Order of magnitude

As an order of magnitude, a monthly retainer sits between 250 and 900 dinars depending on technology and the hours quota. This is not a quote.

What moves the price of a maintenance retainer

The technology sets the floor. A static site almost watches itself. A WordPress with fifteen plugins needs monthly updates, a tested backup and a security watch, because it is the most attacked target on the web.

The second factor is how much change you want. Fixing a paragraph and swapping a photo fits a base retainer. Adding a page, a form or a language belongs to an hours quota, and it is better fixed in advance than argued every month.

Where you start matters too. Taking over a site we did not build needs a bring up to standard pass: credentials, backups, versions, accumulated debt. That is a one off amount, paid once, and the monthly is lower afterwards.

Hosting can stay where it is. We work on OVH, at Tunisian hosts, or on whatever your current provider already uses.

A survey before the retainer

  1. Send the site address and tell us who holds the credentials: host, domain name, administration.
  2. We run a free survey: plugin versions, last tested backup, database size.
  3. The written proposal arrives within two business days: a one off bring up to standard on one side, the monthly on the other.
  4. It stays valid thirty days, and the monthly retainer can be cancelled whenever you want, with no minimum term.

What we will not do on a site under maintenance

We do not resell hosting with a hidden margin. The host invoices you in your own name, at its public rate, and we bill the work rather than the position in the middle.

We do not keep your credentials. Domain, server and administration stay in your name, and the day you change provider there is nothing to reclaim and nothing to buy back.
